London pied à terre
Interiors: Roselind Wilson design
Designed by Ros Wilson for a globetrotting client, the pied-à-terre is both his private bolthole and accommodation for friends and family visiting London.
Two supremely comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms were key elements of the project. The client's strong personality shone through all the choices made and both bathrooms are highly designed environments, marrying his intensely masculine style with exceptional materials and fittings including Watermark's handmade taps and showers.
Many of the best things in life come in small packages and this compact apartment in Fitzrovia is a jewel-box of rich neutrals, luxe textures and bespoke detailing.
Ros Wilson and her client jointly chose Watermark’s Loft brassware for the master bathroom and Zen in the guest suite; two distinctive designs underlining the individuality seen throughout this apartment. The aesthetic carried from bathroom to bathroom in the choice of Watermark’s characterful Vintage Brass finish used throughout.
Sleek and architectural, the finished apartment is also warm and welcoming. The client is delighted with it, signing off on the project after his first stay there with a personal e-mail concluding “Thanks for making this a real home.”
