Interiors: Run For the Hills
The award-winning London-based interior design and branding studio Run For The Hills recently designed a stunning new master bedroom and en-suite bathroom for private clients keen to retain the quirky individuality of their Georgian house.
The finishes and decorative elements used throughout have real integrity and authenticity. Focused on natural materials and craft manufacture, they bring a collective breath of fresh air to this architecturally important building.
The building, being Grade II Listed, also meant that the designers had to come up with creative ways to add contemporary functionality to a space steeped in history whilst staying within listed building planning restraints.
In tune with this aesthetic, Run For The Hills chose The Watermark Collection's 'London' showerhead and shower controls in 'Vintage Brass' finish for the custom designed shower enclosure with its rustic handmade tiles.
Entirely handmade in solid brass and hand finished, their pleasing weight and solidity has the perfect feel for this urban classic project.

Commenting on the project Run For The Hills say, "Our bespoke steel framed shower design, as a structure, is wonderful in itself, featuring both clear and urban style reeded glass, offering some privacy for the couple within the bathroom. To off-set the industrial style metal enclosure, we opted to design some beautiful bespoke artisan tiles, to flank the main shower wall and extra softness was added with the addition of The Watermark Collection's lovely antique brass shower fittings and controls. Making it justifiably the focal part of the ensuite Master Bathroom."
